Henry is a experienced butcher who alongside his wife Megan run The Butcher and the Hog, they both have a passion for food and a love for the countryside.
They pride themselves for great quality food and are both great supporters of the farm to fork ethos. All meat is locally sourced and home farmed from Sussex and surrounding areas

All members of staff wear a set of smart uniform and undergo food hygiene training - copies of these are avaliable upon request.
The Butcher and The Hog are covered with full public liability insurance.
The Small Print
Bookings and deposits
Once you have decided upon your event, we will send you a invoice detailing your choices. The processing of a non-refundable deposit of £200 will confirm your booking and secure your date, we will send you a further invoice with details of the deposit once this has all gone through.
We ask that the remaining balance for your event is paid 1 week prior of the event if the payment has not cleared the before the day of the event staff will not serve.
Please note mileage will be charged for venues over 15 miles from the mailing address at an additional 75p a mile.
We understand that sometimes things go wrong for that reason we allow you to cancel up until seven days before the event. However we cannot accept cancellation less than seven days prior to the event and should this arise 50% of the balance will be charged.
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions. Upon acceptance, our quotation with these conditions shall together constitute the contract between us, The Butcher and the Hog, (“The Butcher and the Hog”) and you (“the client”).
